classes, 6pm to 8pm---2nd floor classroom that is designed
for education and is handicap accessible. Now is the time to
work toward your high school equivalent diploma. Knox County
Career Center Adult Education will be providing instructors for
the classes. For more information or to schedule for the
classes, please contact Adult Education at Career Center at

September 2016

noon—American Health Network’s Dr. Elder’s nurse practitioners,
Deb Samples & Laura Segraves on a rotating basis. Please

information. Accepting most insurances—check with your Medicaid
Obama Care provider to verify coverage

certified nurse practitioner 9am to 2pm…general medical care
for children and adults. Self pay only. Contact her at

May 2 & May 23—Massage Therapy-- Kate
Meyers of “Top Notch Hands Massage Therapy” will be available
all day. Call Kate at 740-504-0044 to schedule or more
information. Walk-ins welcome and appointments encouraged.

May 12---WIC Clinic, 9am to 5pm--
WIC is a nutrition education program providing healthy
supplemental foods for expectant and/or nursing mothers as well
as families with infants and children up to age 5 who live in
Knox county and meet the liberal income guidelines. Please
contact the Health Dept (740-392-2200) to schedule for the WIC
clinic at The Sanctuary. Please mention the Danville site when
scheduling.
May 12-- Infant and Childhood
Immunizations 3pm to 5pm Appointments are requested.
Call The Sanctuary at 740-599-7224 to schedule. Please bring
your child’s immunization record. Chicken Pox vaccinations are
available. Suggested donation of $10 per visit but no
child will be denied immunizations.
May 19---Danville Area Senior Citizens
Luncheon and program, 12 noon, St Luke Community Center—ladies
from Greer Wesleyan, Danville Methodist, Wesley Chapel &
Brinkhaven Church of Christ & North Bend Brethern churches will
be preparing and serving a delicious noontime Ham dinner.
Suggested donation of $6; reservations due by Monday, May 16.

will be sharing the latest information on Bald Eagles in Eastern
